Project Description
It was built in our workshops here in 1997 using a 90 chassis, Range Rover 4.0L V8 engine on SU carbs, old style LT95 Land Rover Stage One V8 gearbox, Detroit Locker in the rear axle and Trutrac in the front (from Ashcrofts of course!), front and rear winches, Rhino Ray built bulbar and winch bumper, Mantec bridging ladders with quick release fitting bolted to a Protection and Performance roll cage and hood frame and various other local Kenya adaptations specifically for Rhino Charge purposes such as side screens, radiator screen, bush bars etc. The car has won the standard class, the Gauntlet trophy and best overseas entrant trophy over the years and has helped raise over £50,000 for Rhino Ark.
