IED500060 - LT230T Intermediate Shaft in HD 300M alloy steel material.

The head of the shaft sometimes wear and leave a step that may not seal. This part may be required when rebuilding your unit especially if being used in high torque applications or on heavy vehicles.

We are able to offer this in 300M alloy steel, heat treated and ground to size. This is a direct replacement for the standard shaft in a far superior material.

Also known as S155, this is a vacuum-melted steel with outstanding strength. A through hardening alloy combining toughness, fatigue strength and good ductility.

Intermediate gear for the 1.211 ratio, as used in all TDCi Defenders and all Discovery II.

These part numbers refer to the same product. The numbers have been superceeded over time but the part number is interchangeable.

Intermediate gear for the 1.410 ratio

This taper roller bearings fits the intermediate gear on LT230s suffix B onwards.

These are genuine Timken brand bearings.
