Our “859” drive flange is to replace the later type of thin flange as fitted to the 300 TDi, TD5 and TDCi engined vehicles.
These replace the Landrover part number FTC859 which supercedes to RUC105200. Note the price is for a pair of these flanges.
Supplied with gaskets and circlips.
Please note the original later drive flanges are designed to run in a ‘dry, non-lubricated’ condition and because of this they are prone to the spline wearing from ‘fretting /

Having some nice Ashcroft shafts for my disco some 959s were purchased at the same time, as my wallet was already in shock no Ashcroft CVS yet but the annoying worn flange click had returned so grabbed a “not ashcroft HD flange as new the did CV spline would eat the flange (4 months it seems fine the last set haha) anyway having both sets side by side you can really see the difference, quality of but thread, how the oring seats. A scribe also gave a rudimentary hardness test again showing the Ashcroft flange being leaps and bounds ahead.
So will of course get another 859 when I order the front Ashcroft CVS and shafts,but even for people with stock shafts and CVS I would recommend this flange without question
