Lubegard Dr Tranny Instant Shudder Fix is specially formulated to instantly eliminate torque converter lock-up shudder. It provides up to four times less wear than using just regular Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) including popular brands of Mobil, Fuchs and Castrol.

Lubegard anti shudder works on ZF 6HP26
Had shudder problems from 4 to 5th gear on Land Rover Discovery 3 from 2005. ZF 6HP26 Gearbox and 360.000km. After refilling the oil and adding two tubes LubeGard dr. Tranny Anti shudder. After few 100km. no shudder.
Now driving over 500.000km still no problems. And using the car sometimes for heavy towing. In between after 80.000km had little problems with shudder, than refil new oil, add the two tubes and problems were gone. Pulling now full power hill up, with 4000kg towing.

Used at 138k after experiencing the usual shudder.
Two tubes added as per recommendation, and have had no issues since. I didn’t expect a miracle cure, but the Dr. Tranny product has some good reviews. There are scaremongers out there that will play the benefits down, but having the additive sold and suggested by a well respected transmission specialist, it’s worth giving it a go.
If nothing else it’ll buy some time.

TD5 Heavy duty torque converter
I fitted the above kit to my tuned td5 D2 along with a Mems(thor) Torque converter. it makes the car a joy to drive, rather than the annoying over revving standard td5 auto set up.well worth the effort.
